By this technique the color of an image or a particular area of an image can be changed. This can de done easily in fireworks and this tutorial helps you to learn that in an easy way.

1. Open an image you want to work with. You can the change the color of whole image or parts of it, say from white to blue.

2. Enlarge the area which you have selected to change color using the Scale tool so that it is clearly visible. By using Polygon Lasso Tool, mark the selected area. The marked area will be now shown with a dotted line.

3. Next step is to adjust the hue and saturation for changing the color. Select Filters>Adjust Color>Hue/Saturation.

4. In the new window appeared adjust the values for Hue, Saturation and Lightness. Just give the values as Hue 207, Saturation 69, and Lightness 63.

5. The final result is the white colored portion is changed to blue color.
