Fireworks enable to add simple textures to text.

You can add texture like DNA and Vertical Line and more features are available. You can learn from here how to give a texture to a text. It is very easy and requires only two steps.

1. Type the text on the canvas with a big and bold font so that the texture is clearly visible. You can select any font type according to your wish.

2.In order to apply the texture, first select the text and click on the menu Color Fill>Fill Option>Texture. You can choose from there the type of texture. It can be pattern DNA with 50% for the Amount Texture or it can be vertical or horizontal lines. You will get the textured pattern in the preview menu.
